What are you finding difficult to use on our platform?
- Wish notes/tasks/descriptions had markdown or some other way to format text
- Can't delete rooms
- Saving previous space settings
- Some indication that a task has description field filled so I know to look inside for info
What is a feature you are looking forward to?
- Offline mode (if the hang up is the backgrounds, I don't need access to every single one and can download a couple that I love)
- Projects

Life At is pretty glitchy on my computer. Sometimes it randomly starts playing audio, despite being turned of multiple times. It often lags and takes a long time to load

Inshirah Sheherin Hmm we will take a look, thank you for letting us know

I absolutely love it! A few things though: I find the chat difficult to use. I sometimes have my business partner in the room and if we need to communicate something it doesn't let us know if there's a message unless we actively open it up, so we end up texting each other on our phones instead. I'd love a way to either toggle notifications on/off so people that don't want to be distracted with chat messages can toggle it off, or those that want them can toggle it on.
I love the new Breathe feature! I think it would be a bit better if it had a countdown or something, like a minute or so.
I'd love a way to have a daily schedule planner for easy reference. Not really tasks, but something like 9am-11am: Work on project A. 11am-12pm: Work on project B. etc.
Oh, and if it could remember the space you were using instead of opening up a random one, that would be great! Or if it needs to pick one, pick from favorites instead of all spaces.

Good evening,
everything it's awesome, but there are two particular features I find "difficult" to use. The first one is:
when you want to remove a task, you need to enter in the 3 dots. If I have 15 tasks, I have to do that 15 times, and in my opinion, it takes some time. Instead I think it would be nice to just put a little bin at the side of the task and press there whenever you need to erase something.
On the other hand, when you are witting your tasks, they appear from last to first. What I mean with this is that, if you write your task, it appears first, but the moment you add another one, what was going to be your first task, becomes the last, so you have to do your list from last to first in order for it to appear correctly.
Example:
(the order that I want and the order in which I wrote the tasks)
1.homework (1)
2.study biology(2)
but if I write them in that order, it will appear like this:
1.study biology(2)
2.homework
I hope this makes sence.
Above all, I love this app and I use it a lot for studying.
Thanxx

alecsandra zangulescu You can rearrange tasks

alecsandra zangulescuThank you for the example, we will review this internally!

What are you finding difficult to use on our platform?
- Mobile version of web app is currently difficult to use (disappearing icons/icons not responding when pressed)
What is a feature you are looking forward to?
- More customisation options (Custom timer pre-sets, auto-start space audio on startup), tag/folder organisation for notes
Devin (LifeAt)
Frances Eslabra More timers would be great!

LifeAt is great <3
I just wanted to mention a minor issue I’ve encountered while using LifeAt application on my Mac. I often keep LifeAt running on a separate desktop space (the extra desktops you can create and swipe between on a Mac, not an external extra monitor) for the Pomodoro timer and the background music while I work in another desktop space with different applications.
The problem is that when I have the LifeAt app open with a space (which I believe is essentially an embedded YouTube video), my monitor never goes into screensaver mode. I have a habit of getting up and leaving my computer for extended periods, sometimes hours. Since the computer never goes into screensaver mode, the monitor stays on, which isn’t ideal.
Currently, my only solution is to predict when I'll be away for a long time and manually put my computer into screensaver mode, which is not very convenient. Even if I minimise LifeAt, my computer still doesn’t go into screensaver.
However, I did some minimal testing.
I’ve found that if I’m using LifeAt in Safari in a similar way to play music (ie put in a different desktop space with the space and timer running), my Computer is able to go into screensaver mode. So, this issue only happens with the LifeAt app on my Mac.
Edit: A new thing occurring on LifeAt website, not on the LifeAt Desktop app though. Most (like 90%) of the spaces are unavailable, the error shown is "Sign in to confirm you are not a bot" which looks like it's from the YouTube embed (again). I am logged into my LifeAt account, even logged out and in again.

Maj Moon Thanks for letting us know! Can you please make sure you arent on a VPN or something like that

Devin (LifeAt) I've been getting this bug on my lifeat desktop as well, no vpn either. please look into this, it is quite disruptive
Maj Moon
Devin (LifeAt) Shouldn't have one. Checked my computer anyways, no VPN configuration so I assume no VPN.

The issue I face the most is the media where even after multiple retries , refreshes ,or switching from spotify and youtube links just to make it work , it doesn't work unfortunately. This happens on the website by the way ,the desktop app works fine so far to my knowledge but i use the website more since it doesn't drain battery unlike the app especially if you have to work for a long time. Then your only option is to paste link on the soundboard option , it works but it doesn't give you enough freedom to just stop or play a certain part of that playlist. Also it doesn't stop when the playlist actually ends but rather play from the top again like it's on a loop. Even the media is just blank after the site being open for a long time now(there is a screenshot attached).
Apart from this , I would like an option for it to record the time I use especially when it suddenly goes offline maybe because of some network issue , and when it happens my whole progress is lost which is demotivating after working for a good time doing tasks.
I agree with fortune being not that useful but add something to relax when it's a break time like quick brain game or just anything and be flexible to every customized break times.

Dark makes sense! We will iterate on this

- Sometimes, the app (mac and windows) randomly switches font to a serif (like times new roman or smth), and I have to quit and relaunch for it to get back to normal, kinda sometimes annoying.
The placing of the widgets also gets a bit buggy (both mac and windows). When you change window size or fullscreen in/out, the placement of the widgets just kinda stays there while the window moves, creating a blank space between the edge of the window and the widgets, making you have to move the widgets back to where you want them. Something like having the widgets remember its place relative to the borders rather than the screen itself might help
- I don't think any features are removal-worthy, they all have a purpose. I think adding things and modifying what the team already has should be the focus.
- a) A big, customizable clock. Something kinda like Flocus? It would help greatly with studying and stuff when locked in without a pomodoro
b) SOME sort of optional snapping or space management with the widgets. I like having my widgets be a certain width apart, which can get pretty tedious if I have to keep changing it. I wouldn't do a grid-snapping, but kinda maybe an optional space between the widgets (such as how you can't put a widget all the way at the top of the screen overlapping with the UI, but like for everything)
c) Maybe more keyboard shortcuts? Doesn't hurt to add (except time coding it ofc), but it could help get around a bit faster
d) RECURRING TASK DRAG & DROP ik you guys know abt this, but it would help so much with scheduling task orders
e) Make the settings menu just like another screen like plan/focus, the current thing with the dropdown layered on top of the screen doesn't work that great for the user IMO, takes a good amount of time for the user to switch between setting pages
f) Favorites in spaces, could add folders maybe (?), could also instead of having them listed out by name, could have a preview like the all spaces, wouldn't be too cluttered if folders are added, helps user know which one they want
Hopefully, this helps out the team for ideas and feedback
If you could implement any of the suggestions (mostly the widget organizing for me), that would be such a great improvement. Thank you for your time reading this and the amazing product! Please reply or reach out further if you want any clarification

ALSO (ran out of characters):
If you guys can, a mobile app (not the web version, it's kinda really clunky rn and hard to use) for mainly the "plan" part would greatly help for on-the-go task writing down.
Devin (LifeAt)
Aiden K Ha appreciate the detailed feedback! A lot to improve still

- The side scrolling on the left hand side, I feel like these should be pop outs with a tab like the others. I often forget these are options because they're kind of hidden. 3.I really would like a clock. There's a pomodoro timer, but no clock.
Devin (LifeAt)
@charwood this is good feedback, thank you! We have always thought about creating more widgets, but we try not to clutter things up

- + 2. i find it difficult that nowadays literally every space has to be paid for. 2 years ago i could access many spaces for nothing and thus was very enjoyable. I'm not asking to remove the paid subscription, its just that i find it annoying that 45% of the spaces are only accessable through the paid subscripton. Im only asking for a 50/50 ratio.
I really love lifeat since ive been using it almost every day for 2 years but that issue is just really bothering.
Devin (LifeAt)
Vanessa _ I hear you, we will try to add more free ones!
