- Sometimes, the app (mac and windows) randomly switches font to a serif (like times new roman or smth), and I have to quit and relaunch for it to get back to normal, kinda sometimes annoying.
The placing of the widgets also gets a bit buggy (both mac and windows). When you change window size or fullscreen in/out, the placement of the widgets just kinda stays there while the window moves, creating a blank space between the edge of the window and the widgets, making you have to move the widgets back to where you want them. Something like having the widgets remember its place relative to the borders rather than the screen itself might help
- I don't think any features are removal-worthy, they all have a purpose. I think adding things and modifying what the team already has should be the focus.
- a) A big, customizable clock. Something kinda like Flocus? It would help greatly with studying and stuff when locked in without a pomodoro
b) SOME sort of optional snapping or space management with the widgets. I like having my widgets be a certain width apart, which can get pretty tedious if I have to keep changing it. I wouldn't do a grid-snapping, but kinda maybe an optional space between the widgets (such as how you can't put a widget all the way at the top of the screen overlapping with the UI, but like for everything)
c) Maybe more keyboard shortcuts? Doesn't hurt to add (except time coding it ofc), but it could help get around a bit faster
d) RECURRING TASK DRAG & DROP ik you guys know abt this, but it would help so much with scheduling task orders
e) Make the settings menu just like another screen like plan/focus, the current thing with the dropdown layered on top of the screen doesn't work that great for the user IMO, takes a good amount of time for the user to switch between setting pages
f) Favorites in spaces, could add folders maybe (?), could also instead of having them listed out by name, could have a preview like the all spaces, wouldn't be too cluttered if folders are added, helps user know which one they want
Hopefully, this helps out the team for ideas and feedback
If you could implement any of the suggestions (mostly the widget organizing for me), that would be such a great improvement. Thank you for your time reading this and the amazing product! Please reply or reach out further if you want any clarification

ALSO (ran out of characters):
If you guys can, a mobile app (not the web version, it's kinda really clunky rn and hard to use) for mainly the "plan" part would greatly help for on-the-go task writing down.

- The side scrolling on the left hand side, I feel like these should be pop outs with a tab like the others. I often forget these are options because they're kind of hidden. 3.I really would like a clock. There's a pomodoro timer, but no clock.

@charwood this is good feedback, thank you! We have always thought about creating more widgets, but we try not to clutter things up

- + 2. i find it difficult that nowadays literally every space has to be paid for. 2 years ago i could access many spaces for nothing and thus was very enjoyable. I'm not asking to remove the paid subscription, its just that i find it annoying that 45% of the spaces are only accessable through the paid subscripton. Im only asking for a 50/50 ratio.
I really love lifeat since ive been using it almost every day for 2 years but that issue is just really bothering.

Vanessa _ I hear you, we will try to add more free ones!

- My app keeps shutting down. I'm on Mac and it refuses to stay open; it either shuts down at app launch or every 15 minutes.
- Rather than a set fortune, would be nice to input my own quotes. Perhaps could have an option to switch between both?
Features:
Important-
3a. Would like the space + settings + timer to remain consistent when I exit the app/website and come back.
3b. Better access: phone access, offline access.
3c. Focus mode that restricts other apps.
3d. If you're heading into the calendar/planning zone, AI to organize tasks. That would really be a game changer.
For fun-
3e. Media widgets that you can add pics/pins/etc.
3f. Journal with journal prompts.
Devin (LifeAt)
Sweden Loke These are great! Will try to add as many to our roadmap as we can.

I would love to have an app of lifeat on my iPhone! It's hard to keep track of what I need to do when I have to be with my computer! Anyhow love the lifeat concept and think a lot of people would love the ios app !
Devin (LifeAt)
Maude duchesne are you saying the task or the spaces? I am curious how you would use lifeat on a phone in your workflow?

- "Tracking Progress with Pro Analytics" - I would like to be able to track my progress based on my tags.
Devin (LifeAt)
Felice interesting, so instead of time it is task progress? like reporting?

Devin (LifeAt) To get more granular, I want to track my time spent on each tagged task.
It would be great to track my time based on the tags I assign to my tasks. For example, I use tags like 'portfolio work' and 'admin' to categorize my tasks. By tracking my time against these tags, I can see exactly how much time I spend each week on activities like admin. Time auditing 🙂

- 90% of the "spaces" videos are "unavailable" and resolution is poor once I do find a video that works
- NA
- Would LOVE for the "plan" board to have a kanban option instead of just daily columns
Devin (LifeAt)
Miranda Lindner hmm that shouldnt happen, do you mind emailing us at contact@lifeat.io please

I LOVE LIFE AT. Re feedback - the ability to make the desktop app window any shape we like as it's quite restricted at the moment; the ability to make it tiny, almost like a widget. A circle-based pomodoro so i can see how much time is left - just in the same lovely white/grey minimalist style as the numbers etc. The ability to take the circle timer/the existing number timer out of the lifeat desktop window and just let it sit with whatever I'm working on. The ability for life at to be an extension on opera and not a website only. But this is still an awesome application. Thank you so much for it.
Devin (LifeAt)
Michelle we played with an idea like this, we could potentially add a little icon on the widget like a pop out action?

I discovered the application over three years ago, and it has been invaluable during my final year of school. I wanted to share some feedback from my experience.
While the app is fantastic, some features could be improved. Expanding functionality without frequent upgrades would keep me engaged and reduce reliance on similar apps. Additionally, adding offline access would be a great benefit.
I truly appreciate how user-friendly it is and how it tracks my study hours and progress. The variety of study spaces and calming sounds really motivate me.
I often recommend it to friends because it has greatly supported my studies.
Thank you for your hard work, and please extend my gratitude to the team for creating such a valuable program.
